Well, shooting in studio is really fun considering the fact you can /should master everything : The light, the Background, the Styling, the model… That’s a lot of things to consider and in order to avoid any bad surprises, I have prepared a checklist for beginners :
1) Take a zoom, 35-105mm is OK
2) Make sure the battery are full.
3) All batteries, even the one of the trigger and of the light meter
4) Take a patient model who will be comprehensive if you make mistakes or are slow in your settings.
5) Use a tripode as well
6) Shoot raw
7) Take some accessories
8) have fun
