Shooting at the window (photographicaly)

You want to improve your skills about how to work with light?

I think the best way to learn is to consider the sun as a strobe. So you have to develop strategy to modify its light in the way you want. You want soft portraits? Shoot on a cloudy day! Want strong contrasts? Shoot on a sunny day! Or in the shade, or at window! Or at window behind a curtain. Let your model turn or turn around her/him and notice how light falls on different ways.

The shot above is BTS shot made with my ipad. The quality of the lense is… what it is. But the fall of the light makes the shot.
